Characteristics

Drumstick Alliums are a lovely addition to the border of your garden, where it adds interest and movement with its egg-shaped flower top heads. The flowers delicately turning from green to purple as they mature. Bee's and Butterflies love them and so will you! Growing to 50-60 cm tall in height, this beauty naturalises easily and will come back year after year (Late spring, and through the summer)

Instructions for planting

• Plant 2" apart, 4" deep
• Plant in a moist but well drained soil (chalk, clay, loam or sand)
• Performs best in full sun
• Spectacular in large sweeping drifts, for best visual impact plant in groups of 20-25
