Characteristics

Impressive, vivid rosy purple heads up to 10cm accross, growing up to 90cm tall. Purple Sensation starts to flower after the Tulips in Mid May. No early summer garden is complete without a good drift of these RHS Gold Merit winning bulbs!

The work perfectly as border, and can be left untouched (No need for replanting or pruning) Sensational in its popularity among gardeners, as well as its striking appearance

Instructions for planting

• Plant at least twice the depth of the bulbs, depending on size of the bulbs 10-15cm deep and 10-15cm apart
• Plant in a moist but well drained soil (chalk, clay, loam or sand)
• Performs best in full sun
• Spectacular in large sweeping drifts !
